The Royal Marsden Hospitals in London and Sutton do amazing work with and for people suffering from cancer and the Band is proud to be able to support them. Thousands of people are sponsored to walk the 15 miles between Chelsea and Sutton hospitals or an alternative shorter 5 mile route. Over £16 million has been raised, since the March started in 2011, to support cancer diagnosis, treatment, research and care. The Band has supported the Marsden March every year since it began in 2011, performing for the participants at St. George’s Playing Field in Tudor Drive.
