The Band was very proud to be asked to perform in the Annual Palace Parade Review, for London Band Week, at Hampton Court Palace in June 2025. K&M are the first Scout & Guide Band to participate in London Band Week.
London Band Week is an annual programme of music performance events, cultural experiences and social opportunities.
The Palace provided a brilliant backdrop for the six Marching Bands to showcase their talents. Two bands from the USA and four UK bands, including K&M, performed marches and static pieces for the audience in the palace gardens. Over 700 band members were involved in the event.
It was very hot day to be in a band uniform but was a wonderful chance to see and hear the different styles of US and UK Marching Bands. Another amazing opportunity for K&M!
