St. George’s Day in 2025 was a special milestone for the Band. It was after the 1950 Kingston District Parade that the Band was formed, so it marked the Band’s official 75th Birthday!
The Band was pleased to be marking this achievement by supporting the St. George’s Day event in neighbouring Wimbledon & Wandle Scout District in 2025. The Parade leads members of the District from Wimbledon Common to the Sacred Heart Church in Edge Hill. The Parade is watched by hundreds of members of the public.
